My name is Janet Byrnes, a candidate running for City Council- District 4.

I’m a mother, military spouse and retired law enforcement officer committed to serving my community with pride and integrity. I understand the importance of safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and a stable future for our families. As a retired law enforcement officer, I’ve spent my career working to keep our community safe and know that public safety is the foundation of a strong city.

I’m dedicated to keeping our schools and neighborhoods safe, support responsible economic growth and expanding housing affordability. I believe we can grow our local economy while protecting the character of our community and ensure our city is affordable for families, seniors, and those who serve it.

I’m not a career politician. I believe in listening, working with others, and putting our community needs first. Together, we can build a safer, stronger city for today and the future.
